For those with children of ADHD what type of medication are they on?

He was wrongly diagnosed with adhd for a while

Hmmmm......we have tried several meds for my son. He's currently taking Adderal XR which appears to be a good choice for him.

Metadate CD wore off all at once and my son couldn't handle this and neither could we. The increased behaviors when the med wore off were too much.

Strattera didn't help my son at all.

Ritalin gave my son bad nose bleeds when it was started and the nose bleeds only stopped when the Ritalin was stopped.

Sheesh.....I can't even remember all the ones we tried.
