It is very hard being a sibling to someone with special needs like my brother, you may feel like your parents love them more than they love you but people with special needs need more attention and patience, i used to think like that but i dont anymore because i just realised that my brother is special and i probably wouldn't want him any other way.

Awww that is so sweet...
The way you said it's so true, really is.. It's not that parents love the special needs child more, it's just that they need more attention

that is very sweet and yes so true i used to feel like that too with my little brother, he has dyslexia and my parents would go out of their way to do anything and everything he wanted, and it just took time for me to realise its because thats the way it had to be for him to get on with things and not get how he used to with his frustration.
although he is now doing well in life as an adult he still struggles and he doesnt like ppl to know that he is dyslexic, and in a way still doesnt accept it. but like you with Pauly i am there for him with my big sister love and support.
you should be so proud of yourself for the love and support you show your mum and your brothers.
